Unofficial BC Live summary, 1st February 2018

BC Live had been cancelled last week as Chengishkhan had been unwell.

Merging - Merging was put on the backburner a while ago because of interactions with the bound equipment. They put the monster trader's +1 bug as a higher priority and fixed that first.  BC acknowledges that this is a priority to us and will try to help this happen.  Merging will be back but only when it's working correctly.

BC will move away from the gold trader over time.

Why Team Brawl and not Battle Royale?   BC has seen in the survey that lots of players have asked about why all these long events have been taking place.  BC understands and can see why we are finding it difficult to adapt to longer events.  BC reminds us that these longer events and matches gives BC more breathing room to be able to enhance stability on all events, such as recently with Dominion.  Masta Don says that it's a trade off between shorter events with lots of bugs because they have no time for testing, so BC has chosen instead to run one long event and one short event because events need to run constantly to keep players logging in.    This will eliminate the problems from 6 months ago when BC was unable to meet their own schedules and lots of events were delayed by hours.  It would be in BC's best interest for player participation to run shorter events all the time though.  BR was scheduled to be running currently but they chose TB instead because it works better as a 10 day event.  BR will return in the rotation where TB was going to be.  Some other events will come out for 10 days with the regular 6 matches per day.  BC realizes that players are more stressed and pressured with the 3 matches per day in case they can play only one match per day.

Valentines raid is next as a 7 day raid. Dominion after that provided that their testing is successful. Battle Royale will be after that.

Next update for Valentines will have new second evolutions that will be announced later.

Damage cap - BC is making progress but it's slow.

Elemental clash won't be returning back without heavier iterations to differentiate it from Crystal Siege more.

Why is trader so greedy?  BC doesn't think that the Trader is greedy.  The way the trader is working currently is the way that BC always intended but the coding was interacting.  Asking for a random number within the coded range is fair.

Stone boosters were removed as BC didn't think that players still used them.  They are available at the raid halls, but possibly only on the easy mode.  Masta Don can't quite remember as it's been so long since he first coded these halls.

Dominion changes for the event following Valentines Raid:  This will still be Dominion event monsters but with more troops competing against each other to remove the strategy of one troop claiming only 3 towers. Lots of troops will be fighting for towers.  If their testing doesn't work in time, Dominion will then be reverted back to the old Dominion.  Like TB/BR, EC/CS, this will be a second Dominion and it won't replace the first.  If player feedback prefers the old Dominion then BC will listen to the feedback.

BC believes that they have a lot of events and this makes them different with such variety.  BC wants to be able to run 10 day events for stability, but they also want to change these events up so they feel different with a twist.

Season rewards are not coming back anytime soon.  Hackers coming back in to the game throughout that extended period of time caused many issues.

Valentines Raid element cannot be commented on without Masta Don being entirely sure.  Keep an eye out on social media.

PVP - matching formula isn't perfect and BC hasn't gotten around to fixing this.

Facebook auto add will be discussed within BC.

New avatar items have not been considered for some time.

Troop Wars? It's currently not slated into the rotation as there is a lot going on.

Extending the story? This isn't prioritized, but damage cap and merging are.

2018 Pvp Scorecard - Chengishkhan: 0, Us: 4
