Supers with Second Evolutions - 4.3.0 Update

4.3.0 Update

The August 2017 game update (4.3.0) has made available two new reward super second evolutions ("sevos") for the Cyborworm (rock) and Soprapera (wind).

These two second evolution supers are now have the strongest attack of all super second evolutions.  The previous highest attack was the SupremeClampion (wind) with 1643 attack but only 14k health, which was it's greatest weakness.  Both the Cyborconda and the Sopramiedo have higher attacks (1665 and 1661 respectively) while maintaining high health (15.5k and 16.6k respectively).

Wind is now the only element to have six second evolution ("sevo") supers available.  Rock and Water have five.  Leaf and Fire only have four possible monsters to second evolve.

For more advanced players who may be considering some of their old super second evolutions to be significantly weak now, there is an option to merge a cyborconda or sopramiedo with your old sevo (Monster A).  To do this, you would be required to perfectly evolve and max the cyborconda/sopramiedo (Monster B) of your choice. Make sure that it has the zodiac that you want your final monster to have as this will transfer over!  Then at the cost of 4 super crystals and 50k stones, you will be able to go to the support.pennypop.com website and access the merging option during the limited times that it's available.  Your new monster will have the same appearance, active and passive of your old weaker sevo (Monster A) but all the new statistics of Monster B.  For many players who are playing with sevo supers, it may be easier and cheaper to simply stop using your old monsters as you get better ones.

Supers with Second Evolutions

I have seen a lot of questions recently on Battle Camp Global where players are asking which supers have a second evolution and also which supers they should take the time to second evolve ("sevo").  BCrank.us is a wonderful resourse and their catalog details all of this information about all monsters in the game.  You can always follow this link to the complete list of second evolved supers on BCrank.us at this search page.

This blog post aims to recreate a table of supers with second evolutions that was available back when I was first starting to evolve supers. I found it really useful to see the progression of non-evolved, first evolved and second evolved.  Unfortunately BCrank limits their search to 35 monsters.  There are 22 supers with second evolution, but that creates an unfeasible search for all 66 different evolutions states.  This post will break these supers into their element, and provides a link so that you can further explore these monsters on BCrank yourself.

The spin supers (the usually the bottom row of each table, except for water where it is second to last) are the easiest to find in the game, however their sevo has a low attack.  The remainder of the monsters are reward monster, which can be won in events (individual/troop tiers or trophy benchmark prizes).  These monsters usually have "+" at the end of their active, meaning that their active is significantly stronger than regular actives.  BCrank.us maintains a list of actives and you can compare the "+" actives and regular actives on their active abilities for supers page here.

Second evolution supers will definitely raise your power rating and give you a strong monster for your team.  To make sure that you don't quickly outgrow your second evolution super, take the time to make sure that it is perfectly evolved (all monsters are maxed, and both first evolved monsters were perfectly evolved too).  Also try to find tier 1 monsters to sevo so that you're creating the best monsters possible.  (For more information about active/passive tiers, please refer to this post).

A perfectly evolved, zodiac matched, sevo super team will have a power rating of around 450k.  In general, a sevo super will be stronger than most first evolution ultras.
